Why Choose Us

We are travelers

At Panipuri Viajes, we are, above all, travelers. Long before starting this project, we had invested years traveling the world, linking long-term trips completely independently, something we continue to do today. This has allowed us to deeply understand the countries where we work, discover places not featured in guidebooks, and inspire us to create the most enriching routes for all levels.

Routes designed by us

All of our routes are designed and have been previously experienced by us. This allows us to bring all our knowledge to bear when designing a trip and give you the best recommendations based on our personal and direct experience. We want you to experience the country, and to that end, we can offer various cultural immersion activities, such as workshops, cooking classes, homestays, and leisure activities.

We work with local agencies

We work directly with local agencies, without intermediaries or wholesalers. We've known our clients for many years, establishing a strong friendship not only based on trust but also a working relationship. This way, we complement each other perfectly: we create your dream trip, and they know exactly how to make it a reality.

Daily accompaniment

When you book a tailor-made private trip with us, we're at your disposal not only during the preparations, but also throughout your entire stay. We'll talk with you every day to make sure everything's going well, answer any questions you may have, and give you recommendations so you can experience the country like we do. We want to be a part of your trip!

Very small groups

Our group trips are limited to a maximum of twelve people. We travel in very small groups to ensure a family atmosphere, truly personalized service, and reach places that larger groups can't access, striving to have the least possible impact on the environment. During the trip, we become a small family, whose bonds often last long after the trip, with the promise of seeing each other again on the next one!

Expert tour leaders

Our group trips are always accompanied by a guide from our team who is an expert in the destination, who has traveled and/or lived there for long periods of time, immersing himself in its culture and learning about its history and traditions. In addition to sharing his experience and knowledge of the country, he is responsible for ensuring the well-being of travelers and handling any arrangements or issues that may arise. All you have to do is enjoy the experience!

We are committed to responsible tourism

We are well aware that tourism has a significant social, economic, and environmental impact, and the enormous challenge this poses. Therefore, when we travel, we try to keep our footprint as small as possible, and ensure that the impact we inevitably have has a positive impact on the societies we visit.

Before traveling, we educate ourselves about the country's history, customs, beliefs, traditions, and socioeconomic situation. This helps us not only understand its culture but also avoid offending those who are opening their homes to us out of ignorance.

We believe that walking through cities is the best way to get to know and understand them, and that's why we explore much of them on foot. We also use alternative transportation, such as bicycles on some excursions, or night trains instead of planes for some long trips when the distances and the destination's possibilities allow it.

We try to eat and shop at local businesses and small artisans, thus contributing to the local economy. Of course, we avoid buying products suspected of being exploited.

We love animals, and that's why on our trips we avoid all activities that involve animal exploitation, such as elephant rides or visits to disreputable "sanctuaries." If we engage in any animal-watching activities in their natural habitat, we ensure that the operator adheres to the code of best practices for these types of sightings to avoid causing unnecessary stress to the animals.

We try to minimize our environmental footprint with small gestures like streamlining our water consumption, using reusable bottles and bags, and avoiding printing unnecessary documents. We make sure to leave places as we found them.

We avoid invasive behaviors, such as taking photos without permission or giving money or gifts to children who beg on the street. We are aware that this only contributes to the vicious cycle of begging, reinforces the motivations of those responsible for not sending them to school, and in no way contributes positively to their lives. Instead, we seek ways to properly manage donations or resources to generate real change in the medium and long term.

In this regard, we collaborate personally with various NGOs and organizations that develop projects in education, healthcare, and empowerment of the local population, and whenever possible, we visit them on our group trips. If you request a private trip, we will discuss them with you so you can decide for yourself whether you would consider including them in your itinerary.
